Description / Project Specifics
The project is an infill site onto an original residential garage block located between existing houses and apartment blocks. The build is a piled foundation with concrete frame structure, masonry façade and flat roof. Build includes amenity spaces and passenger lift. Two of the apartments are compliant to part M4 (3) fully accessible with the remainder being compliant to part M4 (2)
Challenges Overcome / Positive Outcome
The site is situated adjacent to a block of existing apartments and an electrical sub station located in the site demise. Access has been maintained for the sub station as well as protective measures. Community liaison has been maintained with monthly newsletters and community meetings.
