Description / Project Specifics

The project is an infill site onto an original residential garage block located between existing houses and apartment blocks. The build is a piled foundation with concrete frame structure, masonry façade and flat roof. Build includes amenity spaces and passenger lift. Three of the apartments are compliant to part M4 (3) fully accessible with the remainder being compliant to part M4 (2)

Challenges Overcome / Positive Outcome

The site had a number of party wall issues to be overcome prior to commencement and continue to provide restrictions to the site. The building is a long thin shape and presents logistical problems to distribute materials around and on the site. Community liaison had been through the local ward 11councillor and a regular update is kept via monthly newsletters
