Description / Project Specifics

The project is an infill site onto an original residential garage block to construct 2 No semi detached houses designed to match the adjacent properties. House 1 consists of a 2 storey 2 bedroom house and house 2 is a three storey 4 bedroom house. All constructed to comply with Part M4(2) building regulation standards

Challenges Overcome / Positive Outcome

The site is a residential garage infill site between an existing terrace of houses and an apartment block. It is located off of the main A4 road. The site was delayed for some period whilst the client agreed party wall matters that were very restrictive upon the construction. Planning restrictions were very difficult to overcome on a tight site. Bi monthly meetings were held with the local residents association to ensure community liaison was maintained through the course of the build.
